Tour Update

Registration for the 2020 tour opened the day after Thanksgiving.    It has been great to see folks from all over the state of Texas register for the tour.   There are also folks from several other states that have registered.  They include Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, and Washington.  This tour is meant to be a fun tour that folks can ride solo, two up, or in groups.  Please spread the word and let your riding groups know about the tour.

Ride Texas Magazine has a real nice article about the tour in the just issued Winter edition.

If you want great articles about fantastic roads to ride, things to see along the way, and really nice maps that show  routes, this is the magazine for you.

Ride Texas magazine is a sponsor of the tour and plans to provide a free one-year subscription to riders on the 2020 tour who complete at least five tour stops. That’s a great deal.

One of our tour sponsor is Klim. They are providing some great riding gear that will be awarded during the tour. We set-aside some for the first 14 folks who registered for the tour. More information about those awards will be coming in a future blog post. Folks will have a chance to win others during a pop-up tour stop. Some gear will go to the five folks with the highest number of points earned upon completion of the 2020 tour.

We have a great group of sponsors for the 2020 tour. It is very important to me that sponsors be biker friendly and be of interest to the tour riders. A few more more could be added before the tour stop list is finalized. If you have recommendations for potential sponsors, please let me know. For the current list, please see our sponsors page.

The tour T-Shirt has been a popular item. So, I added a few more options to the shop. In addition to the traditional T-Shirt, you can now order a V-Neck version, a Ladies’ Scoopneck version (with a lot of color options), and even an infant version. Checkout the shop and see the expanded selection – they make great gifts.

See y’all on the road.
